WHO IS 2TA Ltd?

2TA was set up by John Sims in May 2003, to provide freelance manufacturing technical assistance, including setting out and CAD detailing.  In August 2003 2TA Limited was incorporated and began trading.

In addition to the 30 years of experience offered by John Sims, 2TA retains the consultation services of Richard Sims, former Managing Director of Killby & Gayford (Joinery & Security) Ltd.  Richard, also a time served Carpenter & Joiner, provides a further 50 years of in depth knowledge for your assistance.

Whilst primarily specialised joinery based, with production experience utilising a wide range of materials including; metal, glass, composites, stone, plastics, leather and textiles, 2TA's services are not limited purely to the use of timber.

Maintaining the family feel of The Company Belinda Sims runs our accounts and is at the forefront when preparing O&M Manuals for both or projects and as a freelance service for Client's own projects.

In addition to these services 2TA further provides facilities for design detailing, project management and technical or promotional documentation – in either file or web page formats.

These services provide valuable technical backup to many client groups including; joinery manufacturers, designers, commercial premises managers and end users.

Without the burden of a continuous in-house overhead, 2TA provides cover when either demand has overwhelmed current resource or the requirement for a particular specialist is spasmodic.
